Team Leader / Director – Andrew Ssentongo:

Andrew is an internationally trained project developer with expertise in renewable energy resource management, process engineering, feasibility appraisal and value chain analysis of small and medium scale renewable energy plants. With over 6 years’ experience in developing and implementing renewable energy projects, Andrew is a flexible team player with positive attitude, a good communicator with excellent presentation skills, excellent networking skills, works very well in an intercultural environment, an excellent team leader and mobilizer.

 

 

THE TEAM:

Admin & Finance Director – Mrs. Robinah Ibale Sebugwawo

Robinah brings over 15 years’ professional experience to the team and has been with GRS Commodities since its inception in 2009. In the past, Robinah worked as Assistant Executive Director for Uganda Flower Exporters’ Association (UFEA) where she coordinated various management activities across 11 commercial flower farms in Uganda including training and capacity building programs in Kenya and The Netherlands, marketing, research and development of new flower varieties, auditing of quality and standards, networking, lobbying and advocacy, monitoring of airfreight logistics and running the day to day activities of the association. Robinah is highly motivated and an expert in finance management, human resource management, quality and standards compliance, internal and external audit compliance.

The company was co-founded by Andrew Ssentongo after graduating with the MSc. European Food & Agribusiness (commercial bio-energy value chains) at The Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester, England and Wageningen University and Research Centre, The Netherlands.
